A  Japanese type white turnip with tender leaves and mild roots. Can be eaten raw when young or cooked when mature.

 

When to Sow: March-May &  July /August

 

HOW TO SOW:
Best sowed direct. Prepare the growing site ensuring the soil is loose and the top is raked to a fine tilth, adding lime if necessary. Seeds will need a min temp of 12°C  for the best germination.


Mark a shallow drill 1cm deep and sow the seeds thinly into the bottom alog the row. Cover over with a little soil and water well. Thin to 10cm when large enough to handle.
