Intense purple flowers with very highly-scented foliage and an intense flavour. A showy basil which is native to the mediterranean. 

 

 

When to Sow: Mar- Jun

 

HOW TO SOW BASIL :
In Pots - sow into moist compost and cover with a sprinkle of soil or vermiculite.  Ideal Temp 15-20°C. Can be transplanted into the ground if required once large enough to handle and after risk of frost has passed, or gown in containers.
