Beetroot belongs to the same family as chard and spinach, so both the leaves and root of beetroot can be eaten. Only red beetroot contains the cancer-fighting compound betacyanin. Excellent quality, medium size roots witn a superb deep red colour and completely ringless. Thsi variety as the name suggests has a good resistance to bolting.

HOW TO SOW:
Soak seeds for 30 mins prior to sowing to aid germination. Direct sow thinly into shallow drills every few cm and just cover with soil. Once germinated plants can be thinned to 10cm and thinnings can be used in salads. Thinnigs do not transplant well.
