A charming climbing vine with delicate foliage and inflated green seed pods that resemble tiny balloons — hence its nickname, Love-in-a-Puff. Beautiful trailing through supports or trellises, it thrives in full sun and adds a playful texture to the summer garden and bouquets.

 

When to sow: Feb-Apr

 

How to sow Love in a puff:
Sow indoors under glass in spring. Sow 1cm deep into moist, well-drained compost. Ideal temperature 18–20°C. Transplant when large enough to handle into individual pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.
