Clarkia unguiculata ‘Enchantress’ is a graceful and unusual annual producing an abundance of frilly apricot-pink flowers with paler edges and contrasting red stamens. The flowers are carried along slender, upright stems, creating a wonderfully light and airy effect in the garden.
 
Reaching approximately 50cm, ‘Enchantress’ is ideal for sunny borders, cottage gardens and cutting patches. It is easy to grow from seed and continues flowering throughout summer, providing plenty of delicate stems for relaxed bouquets and garden-style arrangements. Cut regularly or remove fading flowers to encourage the plants to keep producing new blooms.

HOW TO SOW CLARKIA:
Sow thinly outdoors where the plants are to flower, into finely prepared, moist soil. Cover very lightly with soil or vermiculite and keep moist until germination. Thin the seedlings to 15cm apart once they are large enough to handle. Protect autumn-sown seedlings during severe winter weather.
