This Lisianthus is nothing short of breathtaking — with velvety blooms in deep, almost-black purple that shimmer like a jewel in the vase. Long, strong stems and exceptional vase life make it a florist’s dream, while the dramatic colour adds instant depth and sophistication to arrangements. When to Sow : Aug - Oct
HOW TO SOW LISIANTHUS: Surface sow into moist seed compost. Pat down to make contact but do not cover. If necessary place in a thermostatically controlled heated propagator to maintain constant temperature of 20-25°C. Use grow lights to provide 16 hours of light per day once seedlings emerge. Do not exceed 25 degrees as seeds may go ito dormancy.
Do not overwater and allow compost to dry out between waterings. Lisianthus are very slow growing. Transplant at four true pair leaf stage into individual pots and grow on before planting out into final flowering position. For more tips on Growing Lisianthus check out our Blogs & Growing guides
