With tall slender flower spikes and the prettiest purple flowers which are very attractive to bees. A perennial which will self seed gently around the garden and makes an excellent cut flower. When to Sow: Aug- Sep & Feb- Jun
HOW TO SOW: Sow indoors - Sow into pots of moist compost and cover with a little soil. Ideal temp.20-30°C. The use of a heat mat may be beneficial. Grow on ain cooler conditions once seeds have germinated. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to individual pots before planting out.
Sow Direct as soon as the soil can be raked to a fine tilth. Broadcast sow and cover the seeds lightly.
