With striking red stems and veins, and tender, flavorful leaves. It’s called "rhubarb chard" because its vibrant red stalks resemble those of rhubarb, though the two plants are not related. A mild, earthy flavor. The leaves are tender when cooked, and the stems have a slightly sweeter, beet-like taste.
