Saponaria is airy, elegant, and pure as moonlight — this white-flowered soapwort is the ultimate soft filler. Delicate clusters on slender stems add lift and lightness to borders and bouquets. When to Sow: Aug/Sep & Apr/May
HOW TO SOW SAPONARIA: Sow seeds thinly on the surface of moist compost in trays or modules, as light helps trigger germination. Cover very lightly with a fine layer of vermiculite or compost, just enough to keep the seed in place. Keep at 15–20°C and water gently to avoid washing seeds away. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, pot on or harden off before planting out after the last frost. - Classification: Hardy Annual
