A tall, elegant species of meadow rue.With clouds of lilac-purple, nodding blooms on wiry, branching stems above fine, columbine-like foliage. Its airy, cloud-like sprays adding movement and softness to arrangements. A superb perennial for naturalistic planting and a valuable cut flower for mid-summer designs.

 

When to Sow: Sep - Oct & Feb - Apr

 

HOW TO SOW THALICRUM DIPTEROCARPUM :
May require cold stratification — place seeds in the fridge for 2–3 weeks before sowing. Sow thinly on the surface of moist seed compost and lightly cover with vermiculite. Germination is often slow and erratic (3–6 weeks). Transplant seedlings into pots and grow on in cool conditions before planting out after the last frosts.
