Decorative and aromatic this low growing herb is traditonally used in coking. With pretty pink tiny flowers in summer which are loved by bees.

 

Nutritional Values, Thyme contains high amounts of Vitamin C, A and Iron

Can also be grown in a put on the windowsill.

 

When to Sow: Feb - May

 

HOW TO SOW:

Sow in Pots - Surface sow onto moist compost and cover with a sprinkle of soil. Idea temp 10-15°C. Transplant when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out when dager of frost has passed.

Sow Direct - Into Pre watered shallow drills in a prepared seed bed. Plant out into final positions 20cm apart when they are a sustantial size and have a good rootball.
