A classic Japanese bunching onion that never bulbs out, Ishikura delivers long, clean white stems with short emerald green tops. Pull them when pencil‑thin or let them thicken - fast-growing, and surprisingly hardy.

 

When to Sow : Feb - Aug

 

HOW TO SOW: 
Sow direct in shallow drills 1.5 cm deep, or start under cover in modules for an earlier crop. Ideal temp 15–20 °C Sow thinly and thin seedlings to 7 cm spacing, or multi-sow in clumps. Water regularly and keep weed-free.
