Petunia grandiflora ‘Tritunia Burgundy’ is a spectacular early-flowering petunia, producing an abundance of large, vibrant magenta-pink blooms with striking deep burgundy veining and dark centres.

Part of the outstanding Tritunia F1 series, this variety has been specially bred to initiate flowering even under shorter daylight conditions, making it an excellent choice for gardeners looking to enjoy their petunias earlier in the season.

The large, trumpet-shaped flowers create a stunning display against fresh green foliage, bringing vibrant colour to patio pots, containers, window boxes and summer bedding schemes. With its naturally bushy habit and impressive flower power, Tritunia Burgundy provides a beautiful display throughout the summer and into autumn.

Sow indoors from January to April, ideally with additional light for the earliest sowings. Plant outside once all risk of frost has passed and enjoy flowers from late spring through to autumn.

When to Sow: Jan - Apr

HOW TO SOW PETUNIA SEEDS:
Sow under cover in trays or modules — do not cover the seeds, as they need light to germinate. Keep moist and warm at 20–24°C. A propagation lid will help and a heat mat if sowing early.  Germination can be slow and irregular, so don’t panic. Transplant when large enough to handle and plant out after the risk of frost has passed
